This week’s app is to celebrate the lovely riding weather in Arizona. I saw this app awhile back on my monthly statement from Allstate, but I sold my motorcycle last year. I decided to check it out anyway since I’m sure I’ll own another bike at some point in my life. I wasn’t disappointed.

GoodRide by Allstate is full of features for those who crave an adventure. The best part about it is that it’s made to track pretty much everything about your riding experience. You can set it up to track your rides, your bikes, your maintenance history and other things. There’s a handy section that helps you find gas stations, weather in your area, state laws and also gives you a list of “classic rides” for you to reference.

The maintenance section of the app gives you an option to track service you’ve had done on your bike, where it was done, the odometer reading, notes and the ability to set an alert for future service. This integrates into the bike information, too. If you want to send any information to your computer, you can export and e-mail yourself (or a shop) a .CSV file. You can also share your rides on Facebook.

You don’t have to be an Allstate customer to use the app, but it does integrate with some of their services if you are a customer. This is a very robust, user-friendly app that could have come in handy for several of my adventures. Maybe next time…
