As always, the “Top 10 from CES” 2018 edition is back! We collectively walked almost 40 miles this year to check out the latest and greatest tech things at the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, NV. This year’s theme seemed to hover around robotics, TV technology, and integrations of Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa. Here’s our top 10 from 2018, in no particular order. You can check out the full album of photos on our Facebook page.
- Cygnett portable jump starter
We were shocked to see such a tiny, portable jump starter for vehicles. The battery life is decent, too! Definitely worth checking out for those adventurous individuals! - iMD File organizing system
This is probably the most sophisticated filing system we have ever seen! You can organize bins of files with an app. If you need to locate the file, you select it in the app and the corresponding filing cabinet and folder light up. - Bitdefender Box
The Bitdefender Box was, by far, our most favorite find of CES 2018. There’s finally a solution to protect your smart home integrations and your home network. In addition to securing your home network, the device also offers an advanced parental control feature to help you detect cyberbullying and online predators. - JCPAL Magnetic privacy protector
We spend a lot of time applying screen protectors on devices. This one expedites the process significantly while giving you the freedom to remove it, if needed. The easy-on/easy-off, magnetic design makes it a necessary accessory for any laptop user. - Coravin wine opener
This is such a great product for wine lovers! It doesn’t require you to remove the cork from the bottle, but instead pokes through the top- allowing the cork to naturally reseal itself. Genius! - Google AssistantÂ
Everywhere we looked, there were people yelling “Hey Google!” Google launched their own version of a voice activated assistant. It integrates seamlessly with your smart-home integrations and allows you to ask for help anywhere! - Willow Breast Pump
Finally a smart re-design for breastfeeding moms! It’s a wireless, tubeless, wearable breast pump that also has an app to track progress. The bags have a one-way valve and can be refrigerated or frozen. - Skyworth OLED wallpaper TV
TV technology is always something worth checking out at CES, but this product was hands down the best we saw. The screen was so thin that we almost didn’t believe it was a TV! - The original Polaroid
The Polaroid OneStep 2 is available and replaces its retro predecessor, the OneStep. It features a longer battery life, a high-quality lens and a self-timer mode. Plus, film is available in both color and black and white options. - AcTek ET Mini 2.0 portable projector
We were blown away by how tiny (but powerful) this portable projector was when we saw it. It has HD resolution, a built-in speaker and a rechargeable battery.
