If you’d like to free up more space in your Android phone or you’re reaching your phone’s maximum storage, a good place to start would be deleting some apps you don’t use.
Here’s how to delete an app on Android:
- Tap your phone’s Menu button
- Tap on your Settings app
- Go to “Applications” > “Manage Applications” (on some Android’s it could just be under Apps in Settings)
- Find the app you’d like to download in the list, tap on it, then tap “Uninstall”
Note: On the latest versions of Android, you’re usually able to hold the app icon down and a small box will pop-up with the uninstall option available.
