All of these tools sync up to your account and you can view and make changes whenever you need to. Collaborating on a project with someone else? You can also add users with different roles, so if you’re using a contractor, you can capture their time without giving access to your full account. Timesheets can be submitted for approval and there’s even a function to generate invoices.
Harvest is, by far, the most bang for your buck when it comes to tracking your time. They offer multiple plans that are affordable for every kind of business owner, including a free version for people who want to track their own time. You can break down projects and tasks as specific as you need them to be and assign them to members.
We love apps like Harvest because they help us stay organized and learn where all of our time is going. I guess the only down side to that is discovering our love of being distracted by everything else.
